Hidden Valley Eco
Hidden Valley Cabins is an eco friendly resort situated in the Paluma Range; about 90 minutes drive from Townsville. It’s Australia’s first carbon neutral resort and operates on 100% solar power.
Hidden Valley Cabins’ solar system is comprised of 12 KVA inverter, 90 x 130 watt solar panels delivering 120 volts DC into 60 x 2 volt 1660 amp batteries. If guests are interested, they can go on a tour of the solar installation, to learn how it all works.
There are many other tours that are offered by Hidden Valley Cabins. There are tours to Running River Gorge, a two day river and rainforest safari and many more.
The resort also has a restaurant, swimming pool, entertainment area and several traditional cottage style cabins.
